All this signifying with these letters ..... acronyms, whateveryacallit .... makes me feel old suddenly. :boohoo: Fast forward 50 years from now. Guys will be paying thousands of dollars for the legendary PHIG stone on ebay. :rofl2:
( BTW. I'd rather have used the green Big Grin Smiley but after the update it disappeared. The ROFL2 is cool but a bit of overkill compared to my true meaning  )
Hey guys, I have a razor that won't pass the HHT....and....Ooops, wrong thread...
:rofl2:
How do these stones compare to say a Belgian 8k hone?
...I'll get my coat. :D
If we're going to change the name from C12K or PHIG, why not go with the obvious, C-Nat.
I sold mine sometime ago but IIRC there was no notation on the box that claimed a grit rating. I bought mine from Woodcraft and they described it as 12k on their website. I wonder where the designation originated ? Not saying it is or it isn't, just wondering out loud. :thinking:Attachment 68376
I suspect that Woodcraft is to blame for it, as they seemed to be the original, or at least common, US source.
