Thread: Barber hones characteristics

I've made a rough pass through this thread and started working on a chart or table ranging them from coarse to fine, based on what posters have said.

I am assuming, for the moment, that the combination hones labled Dubl Duk, OVB, Reliance, and Tosorial Gem are all equivalent since the two I have (DD and Reliance) are, and the other two look identical from all I can tell here. That might be a problem, but I think it needs to be shown that they are actually different.

So here goes, very tentatively:

• Winner Combo, Brown Side: 4000
• Dubl Duk et. al. Combo Grey Side: 4000
• Old Norton Combo: 4000
• Simmons/Keen Kutter combo, Black Side: 6000
• Winner Comb. White Side: 8000
• Old Norton Comb: 8000
• Simmons/Keen Kutter Combo Grey Side: 10,000
• Dubl Duk et. al. Combo brown side: 10,000-11,000 (?)

Not sure how to rank the Swatys: we have 2 lines of text, 3 lines of text, branded "Three Line Swaty," Pikes, SRDs, "Long" Swatys

Maybe some Swatiographer can plug in those values.

Is this getting anywhere near being roughly accurate?
