Can you clarify what you mean by "low grit"? My Nani 400 SS doesn't load at all.

I use both the Chosera and Superstone 1K and normally work about 12 restoration or customer honing razors at a time. I have never seen either load up more than the other and actually the results are quite similar. Both clean up very easily with the GDLP. The Chosera definitely has a harder feel, but great cutting feedback.
For what it's worth, I have done over three thousand razors on the thinner Naniwa Superstones with the stands and they are still in service. The thicker is a personal preference and why not......
