    Default First Barber Hone

    Hey, guys.

I'm wanting to "get my feet wet" into the wonderful world of honing with a barber hone as I think this is probably the most prudent approach.

I'm probably going to purchase one of the barber hones on Glen's site. Which of these would be best for just the occasional touch-up and keeping a sharp edge?

i'd say any of them. the important part is that glen has tested them and if he says it's good then it is. if you want more details about the differences to figure out which one to pick, i'd say you should talk to glen.

I have a two-line Swaty that pleases me greatly, but can't say those other hones wouldn't serve you better (cheaper too). I agree with the others, just ask Glen.
