I bought this at a flea market and am not 100% sure what it is. The correct color is a purple-brown. The photo using a flash makes it look blue which it is not. It hones like velvet ... very smooth. High grit for sure. Thanks for your help.

Looks like a BBW to me. But I am probably wrong if it is super smooth.
I hate to say it but almost looks like SRPs Jasper's African SIlk Vein. Those are not purple they are greyish .. Does it have a tiger eye effect when you turn it in the light?

Most likely BBW.
99.9 percent sure its a belgian blue stone.
Rub a slurry on it and it should be purple like dirty purple water.
I went outside and took a closer picture. The stone looks like it has a pattern to it. One pic wet and one dry. If it is a Belgiun Blue, what is the approximate grit range? Thanks.
