    Hello again , Gents. Have anybody any ideea what kind of stone is this?
    Is 7x1.5 inch(170x35x12 mm).

    My Escher is the same size as that.

    It looks about the same color also

    Well, that does not look like an Escher to me. The stone does not look right and the slurry is the wrong color.
    On the other hand, I've no idea what it is.

    And I think you'd be hard-pressed to produce that much slurry on a Charnley!

    Are there any saw marks or rough hewn look to the bottom of the stone? I have at least one very dark thuringian. The bottom has some areas with the rough hewn appearance found on thuringian stones.

    I have a Blue Dalmore that looks like that stone. When wet it looks like clouds in the stone.
