Bushdoctor, nice collection. What kind of stones are in the bulky paddles?
Thanks,
stones in the paddle are from my friend, most are Jnat, but also Turkish, Charnley, and the big one in the middle, with yellow handle is a Pierre La Lune....................
Mine are just the stones on left side till the Dragon Tongue.
I have decided to start my collection the easy way . All at once.
See the little pile of rock behind me and what I have in hand?

There has to be some hard flat ones down there now! Where is that dump truck ?
Your chance of finding flats ones out there is about as good as finding stones that are already soaked in water and slurried. :)
I can't find the photo but Alex in Calif sent me a photo of his pile of jants spread all over his floor. Perhaps he can post that pic for us. The pic of Alex's many jants is on my old laptop which blew up awhile back.
..you sir are a sick individual... I'm going to have nightmares now.
Some great stone porn here.
Don't listen to detractors Oldengaerde, it looks like there's still some room. Are the shelves almost full, or not entirely empty?
And keep me away from that Nakayama Alex, or I may try to eat it.
I would like to play, I feel this thread needs more yellow. so I thought I'd take a couple of my favorite kiitas out for yard time on the bench. Unfortunately I must keep them under lock and key. With no hopes of rehabilitation- all these kiita are killers.

From White (Nakayama) to right on bottom row. Lv 4 Nakayama Iromono Kiita- this one is what all Kiita shoul be. It can create iron in the togidoro faster than a chosera 1k and finish my razors to the keenest blistering smooth edge. The particles go to 5+ like a genie in a lamp. It is less thick than I am tall, so sadly I must continue acquiring. Next a phenomenal consistent Kiita from Nakayama at Lv5- and after that a very vibrant yellow Kiita this time 5 from Nakayama. Then a Narutaki Kiita Lv5 that is 5+ fines. Excellent polisher. Then a Level 5 Kiita. This one is a seriously professional hone as it's a polisher that doesn't waste any time, same goes for the Lv5+ Nakayama Kiita on the end. One day I'll try to figure out which is faster. Why all the different Levels when they're all kiita extended range? Well, it's not about that. The lv 4 can beat by 20k suehiro, but some steels and geometries respond better than great to some stones and just great on others. And because they're yellow. That's why. :)
Above the Narutaki is a Lv 5 lime yellow Kiita from Nakayama- these are the cats pajamas for polishing, so smooth with an asagi like waxy feel and polish and a kiita's bite. Great honing feel and results. Other stuff like a razor grade Blue Aoto (with a sedge on top) and Black Tsushima Ocean hone and Black Tsushima Mountain hone, and the razor quality suita next to the white Nakayama and some uchigumori tomo naguras-- I didn't pull out my favorite rare naguras like ban and atsu.
