    Default Mystery

I was gifted a few items yesterday and the person who gave them to me knew them all and explained to me what most of them were for. But by the time i got home this one escapes my memory. Does anyone know what it is?

    That's easy, it's a hone!

It looks synthetic to me? Possibly an old King or Norton stone?

I am just looking at a pic on my phone, but it looks like some kind of sand stone, possibly a queer creek or something similar.

Could you please let us know the dimensions? I guess I default to suspecting it to be a Thuringian.

My first guess would be a thuri, but the dimensions would really help. Or a picture of the wet stone, and slurry too. Is it smooth if you run your fingernail over it?

I will measure it all up when I get home. Wet it then create slury. More photos to come
