Luckily my stone was fairly flat and was lapped and ready in 30 minutes.
After honing a Globusmen on the 1k Chosera, 2-4-6-8-16k Shaptons, I finished it on the Ozuku. Raised a light slurry, and just went by feel using a combination of circles and halfstrokes until I felt the slurry break down. Finsihed with some fine regular strokes on water, around 20 laps.
The result was an outstanding edge, probably the best combo of smooth and sharp I have felt. Needless to say, I'm quite pleased! :)
