Don't know about you guys that want to learn Japanese just to talk about stones, seems like a pain in the butt.
Isnt the phrase - pain in the ass , hsaha ah a
Meh, what do I know and, you can use ass I suppose until a Mod comes by and slaps ya on the hand. (ask me how I know) :)
Are these Jap stones all that Great, Really? I do like some of the colors and patterns in them but the prices of some are Outrageous. There are Many ways to polish an edge.
Ther eis plenty of info online about the different stamps and meaning, it easier to google than to learn a new language. :beer1:
In the end , stamps mean nothing to the performance of the stone. It is well known that all sellers in Japan have all kinds of stamps and can stamp stones however they want to misrepresent for profits. So the proof is in the pudding rather than the packaging of it.
