    Question Covenant Stone

Does anyone have experience with a "Covenant" stone from Isreal? I am wondering how suitable they are for straight razors. Any help on this one would be appreciated.

It depends on your existing progression. Unless you want it as an additional hone rather than a necessity. I looked into them but they just don't seem to be that useful and are expensive, albeit interesting to look at. The bottom line is that I like my current finishers and these do not appear to be as fine.

That is one good looking stone. What is the shave off it like? I gather it is mudstone, its hardness akin to a coticule? I especially like its fitted box.

yeah the pic doesnt do it justice its tan and blue striped . mudstone comes to mind when i look at it but its harder then a coti. but not glass like . the shave off of the stone is close to the harder coti's sharp but not as comfortable as a mello coti
