Thread: Black Prince - Barber's Hone

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased an unused barber's hone. The company is called Black Prince and it is a black carborundum barber's hone from Australia.

I was wondering if anyone has any idea of what equivalent of grit it might be? When would I use this on a straight razor? It feels quite smooth.

I will post some images tonight of my stone and box. The one attached is similar to mine, obviously used, but same brand.

Any help would be appreciated.
