Salient advice! For right now I'm just going to put 'em all together on my coffee table and just 'drool' for a few days! :beer1:

LOL! Wish I had a 'shave room! But...it's probably a good thing I don't, otherwise I'd have 2 Barber Chairs sitting in my garage right now. He had a sign on those that just said: "Make Offer". I didn't ask many questions but I got the feeling these items belonged to a 'deceased' relative and he was just unloading them. I think he was figuring that somebody that owned a barber shop might see them and want to buy them. Who knows? He was a fairly young kid...so he seemed happy to get whatever he got for what he was selling. My guess is those chairs could have been had for maybe $40-$50 dollars. Maybe even less. He was selling lots of hair salon type beauty supplies etc. 'cheap'.
Excellent score, gongrats
Just had to Bump up this thread because its just great!!
As an additional information, Facos stands for Fassbinder & Co. Solingen.
They bought their Coticules from Burton at this time...
Yup--resented him then and resent him now.
Hey! I rep-resent that remark!
The real 'sad thing' is that each of those hones are still wrapped up and pristine. I am really a terminally diseased sufferer of 'HAD'!
What a find...not just a great find, you found the entire horde! Congratulations, that must have been a great day....:tu
