Hone ID - Charnley or Llyn Idwal? Opinions please
I just aquired this hone from a seller in the UK. They said the hone was their grandfather's and was referred to as a Charnley Forest hone. It has olive color with not too much red color but some dark rusty red streaks and even a few red dots on one side. I'm not sure, so I'd love to hear opinions from others more familiar with the above mentioned hones. The following photos are first dry, then wet. The hone measures 2x9x1 3/8" and came in a nice mahogany case. I haven't lapped it yet, just cleaned with oven cleaner.

Any guesses on this unidentified stone i own?
I thought it might fit in the definition but has not this light green colour its darker....i put up highrez pics...its a hard one kind of schist/slate...it has clear visible sawmarks
