got my norton 4k/8k but need to lap it confusion with DMT plates can you help
so my norton came and i was getting ready to hone but when i went on youtube people are talking about lapping a new norton using DMT plates. here is the video link:

the creator of the video says he uses two different grits 120 and 325 DMT plates.
are these the same plates:
DMT D8E Diamond Sharp Whetstone 200 x 75mm Extra Fine hone honing | eBay
but these DMT stones i have linked are sharpening stones in there own right so do i use the DMT sharpening stones to lap the norton?
is 120 and 325 too low a grit?
i know you can use wet and dry sandpaper its stated in the video
i live in the UK.
