    Default A Barber stone....

    Good afternoon gents
When touching up with a barber stone do you use the same technique as in regular honing? Also do I have to tape the spine of the blade before touching up?
Any answers are much appreciated and thanks in advance!

Yes a barber hone can be used as you would use any other hone. Here is a video by gssixgun, showing you how. YouTube GsSixGun Barber Hone
    .

You have to use at least as many layers of tape as was used to finish the razor. More would be personal preference.

For more info on these hones search for barber hone characteristics. My buddy SHam made the thread a while ago, great info.

I see you are doing your research before your stone arrives. Good job! at least it will be used properly. It should arrive any day now
