Sorry, can't help you there!
But if you get some more pics, wet/dry, slurry and slurry with steel in it maybe someone else can.
Good luck!
I really wish I had the patience for Jnats, I have tried quite a few and could never get the results I was looking for. I have 2 coticules that I have pretty much mastered and they give me the best finishes I could want so I stick with em. I am thinking about a nani 16k or something like that, maby a shaptonn.
I have few of simmilar hones to yours. They all were acquired in UK ans as you wrote realy hard to lap. Lapping CFs and LIs is a doddle comparing with this one. The only hone simmilar to lap is Rozsutec. I was trying (and few others) to find out what it is and so far without any real joy. At least that dream is still on Green hard hone with Blue stains with mysterious qualities as used by Sheffield cuttlers.
Thank you. So is a blue stone with green splashes. It may be a cutlers green? Is that stone really exist?I bought this stone in USA, and was dished in the middle. So is maybe a knife sone? I can't imagine dishing this stone with razors, is too hard.
Remember that fine stones never were privilege for razors. The market would be too small. All fine tools deserve a decent stones. For that reason we can still find them arround as they were manufactured for mass market. And as about CG so far it is closest I got to it. Enjoy the hone.
