Just made from the cut-end of the old production of the thuringian miners. V-shape, backside left natural.
Attachment 237933
9 inch long, 2-2 1/2 '' wide. 820 g. Quality light green with some partly change into blue.
With the special V-shape, perfect to hold in hand.

I am guessing the bout I got probably came from Peter at some point so I figure I should post it in his thread and a blue green Droescher to compare color. I like them both, but the bout out performs any thuri I have ever tried. Glad I was able to save it got after it broken in shipping.
Attachment 243269
This beauty came from the typical layers at the border of the thuringian whetstone quarries.
Attachment 252933
You can recognize the holes in the stone material on the backside.
Attachment 252934
This is quite typical for the thurigian area. You can see it for example here at the entrance of one of the old whetstone quarries.
Attachment 252930
The stone has some problems though. Some crack lines are going through. Might get better if I lapp a bit more but not sure. Beautiful yellow and blue colors.
Attachment 252931
A very nice thuringian dual layered stone i got from an old tool lot...it shows a typical yellowgreen/blue combination layer...
I love finishing on those stones, very soft, smooth and silky feeling with outstanding results in a perfect combination of sharpness and smoothness.
The discoloration on the top in the rusty red seems to be some remainings from an old label, actually some glue remainings were visible before cleaning it.

@hatzicho:
Thanks Peter for sharing that really nice looking stone!! Would an intact layer be usable the same way as a normal stone from the normally used "whetstone layers" ?
I am imagine myself , like on a wet dream , on this old quaery , with a hammer and a chisel ......
If you guys show another, of those enourmous Thuries , i will quit honning , for good .
Please , this is not normal , a stone of this size ha ha ah a
