    Default Naniwa Super stones

I am going to add to my collection of naniwa super stonesbut strangely here in the UKI can now buy a 20mm stone cheaper than a 10mm stone. All the honing videos I haveseen use the thinner 10mm. Is there a reason for this i.e. does the thickerstone swell much more.

Yes there is a reason they are cheaper, and it seems more available than the 20mm ones.

I prefer the thicker stones. I hone with the stone in my hand, and if I am not mistaken, the thinner stones come glued on a rubber stand which makes holding it in the hand more cumbersome.

You can also keep the naniwa sticker label on your stone and use the other side of the hone.
