Hello, I have a honing issue with just one razor. I have 2 large Wade and Butcher hollow ground razors one shows very little wear on the spine (top razor) and it honed up sweet. The other is being a bit of a problem, the razor shows a lot wear across the spine and even though it has honed up and is usable it doesn't get to that sweet level like the rest. Honestly this razor has more wear than any of my others. The question is there a way to bring this big boy to the next level or is this the best I can hope with it? I use Shapton stones (1K - 16K) and finish with a a paddle strop pasted with chromium Oxide. Like I said so far it's only this one razor I'm having issues with and suggestions would be a blessing. I love these large razors.
