SWMBO is out of town for work so it's the perfect time to catch up on some of the stable needing touch up. Almost a day and a half but done. Now to clean up.

Clean up, pour a drink, and relax knowing it was a job well done.

That top one looks like the Godfather of the pack!

As they are all part of the rotation and I have a known bevel set, I don't bother with "testing per se". I touch up hone by how the blade feels and sounds on the hone. The real test is after stropping and the shave. Out of the lot maybe two should need further work done. These will be good now for over a year. I always finish on a pasted balsa/CrOx strop but the stone's went up anywhere from 12k-32K depending on the steel and which razor they are.Quote:
