2013 Honathon
SWMBO is out of town for work so it's the perfect time to catch up on some of the stable needing touch up. Almost a day and a half but done. Now to clean up.

Kenny rangerdvs made that one for me. Out of all of them it means the most. Excellent and while he calls it 11/8 I measure it at almost 13/8!!!

As they are all part of the rotation and I have a known bevel set, I don't bother with "testing per se". I touch up hone by how the blade feels and sounds on the hone. The real test is after stropping and the shave. Out of the lot maybe two should need further work done. These will be good now for over a year. I always finish on a pasted balsa/CrOx strop but the stone's went up anywhere from 12k-32K depending on the steel and which razor they are. Originally Posted by RezDog

Love that pic! At least it's all behind you now. Plus, when SWMBO starts complaining about how many I have, I can just show her that pic and I'll be golden again!!
