Default What’s your favourite stone combo?

Apologies if this has been asked before but there are new SRP members signing up almost daily that might give different answers.
What’s your favourite stone combo from start to finish? I’m curious to know if members are all using similar stones or are there any rouge honers that are using less used/rare stones.
    Grit, brand, vintage?

    Thanks.

For my bevel setter I either use a soft ark from dans or an EZ-E lap diamond stone. Don't know the grit on it but its about 1k. Then I usually use a coti with slurry and dilute or I use a dragons tongue and do the same. I prefer the coti though. Then I go to a C12k and then a Trans black arkansas for final touches.

I really strive for simple. I picked my side, enjoy the glide. Interested in what others use.

King 1k/6k followed by either my phig or my jnat. Then pasted strop if I feel the edge is lacking.

    Naniwa/Norton 1k, Norton 4/8, Naniwa 12k, Escher.
A few coti/natural hones which work better with old stuff. Sometimes!

I use what I have. 1k King, 6k King, 8k Norton red 8 inch DMT to flatten. A TM 4 sided paddle strop with 3, 1, and 0.5 u diamonds. TM Latigo and linen 2.5 inch barber end strop. I would not call this combo best but it works for me.
