Would it be too much to ask to get 10x versions of the above so we can get a better idea of what we should look for?

This is why honing is like trading the stock market. You don't rely on one indicator.
Learn all the tests & don't rely on just one, ie visual. I know I use my loupe a lot so my hypocrisy knows no bounds :) but I can interpret TNT & TPT just as easily. The loupe is just another confirmation.
At 10x you're pretty just looking for a non ragged edge off the 1 k with scratches all the way to the edge & no anomoalous reflections off the edge.
Sounds simple but it is a learned process thru much repetition.

Kidding aside, since you two are both located in Sydney, maybe Mr. Onimaru can show you a few things in person? Like the value of magnification higher than 10x?
