Would it be too much to ask to get 10x versions of the above so we can get a better idea of what we should look for?

I have read the entire thread. The thing is, tonight I had set the bevel on a few razors and it was a bit hard to judge if I am there as even the 20x is much clearer than my loupe which is 10x.Quote:

Learn all the tests & don't rely on just one, ie visual. I know I use my loupe a lot so my hypocrisy knows no bounds :) but I can interpret TNT & TPT just as easily. The loupe is just another confirmation.
At 10x you're pretty just looking for a non ragged edge off the 1 k with scratches all the way to the edge & no anomoalous reflections off the edge.
Sounds simple but it is a learned process thru much repetition.
