Count me in on the confused/misusing lot; although I have worked with my own definitions:
- Frame razor: a razor with a blade stuck in a a frame spine and tang
- Frame back razor: a razor with only its back/spine framed
- Faux frame back razor: a razor with a thin wedge-type grind as if its spine is a frame - but it's not
I like the rattler, frame back, faux frame back definitions though, a wiki update seems long overdue.
For the record: I consider all of these to be shoulderless grinds, as they have no shoulder :). Shoulderlessness (I know, I know...) to me is just a feature, not a defining characteristic of a razor; you have them on hollow ground razors too.
