    Default So Close

I have honed my DD satinedge using the Unicot method on my Le Verte coticule. It is so close. The HHT works at the mid-point of the razor and I can feel it hanging so close all along the rest of the edge of the blade. Any suggestions on what I should do at this point? Strop it more?
    Test shave with it?
    Kindly

When I have edges like this I often try a strop on newspaper, sometime with crox. I find that newspaper stropping can often help just get the edge to a point I can dial it in properly on leather.

Thank you. I have a piece of linen with some TI paste on it. Would that be worth giving it a shot?

I would, but some of the more experienced guys might advise otherwise. Doing this will only get the razor shave ready, it won't identify or correct what the honing issue is.

HHT is a "test"... the only way to know if it shaves well is to shave with it.
