    Default SHARP a la Barber's Hone

    Thanks to Josh, GW, BPatten and others I lapped my Barber Hone and have now honed up my razor (after dulling it )

    For anyone who is trying to learn to use their Barber Hone, check out my thread "Dull a la Barber Hone" and you'll see some nice suggestions from the aforementioned members on how to use your hone. For me and my Boss Hone, it took lapping and then starting with light pressure, realizing that the grit is quite high and that I might get carpal tunnel before honing a shaving edge, I tried firmer pressure and voila - sharpness at last! YMMV but it gives you a starting point if you're new with a mysterious Barber Hone.
