    Default Honemeister in Madison Wisconsin

    Hello SRP!

I got an old straight razor from my dad and have tried for a few hours to set the bevel on a Norton 4000. I've been trying to follow the instructions from these two videos, but can't seem to get anything resembling sharp or pass the magic marker test without using a rolling X stroke:

Any honemeisters near Madison Wisconsin that'd be willing to give me a little of their time?

Good of you to volinteer Dinnermint.

BenLi, did you look at the list of members near you? That might help to locate someone closer. Just dont ask me how to do the search. Ha. This forum is smarter than i am.

Any time I can help I'll do my best. Or I'll lie to you good enough you will believe it.

BTW, Be sure to check when the last time they posted on the forum. We got a lot of members that are not active. If you find someone in your town be sure to send them a PM. And I'd say if you dont get any reply's quickly, get with the gentleman above that volunteered. Face to face learning is the best! I'm not lieing this time.
