Thanked: 17Unusual hone from the Larkin Co.
I bought this hone recently because I knew that the stone is an Escher. The stone measures 6 13/16" long and 1 3/4" wide. You may not be able to make it out in the instructions but it says to make a slurry with the rubbing stone (not included ) but the space for it is clear from the size of the box. I don't know anything about the Larkin Co. but the stone is a top quality Dark Blue Escher which lapped beautifully. Soft and with a gritty slurry, I really loved working with it. I'd like to hear from the SRP brotherhood about this, do any of you know something about the Larkin Co?
