Hey I was looking at getting a coticule from Howard at the perfectedge at the same time as a norton 4k/8k, do i need to get a slurry stone or is there another way to raise a slurry ? i.e. by honing or a gentle lapping on sandpaper?

P.s. Shaves are coming along good now, still haven't started doing my chin yet... Will start sometime in this week I reckon
