Question on a natural polishing water stone
Hey guys, I'm fairly new to the straight razor scene. I do however have a question in regards to maintaining a razors egde. I have a natural water stone that I bought for my other addction of scandinavian knives. It's from woodcraft and is extremely smooth and provides almost a mirror like finish to my scandi edges. I was wondering if I could also use this as a final and or touching up type hone to maintain my razor's edge prior to proper stropping. Here is a link for a full description of it. I have the the smaller one, they say it's around 12,000+ grit.
