Thread: Finishing With A Barber Hone

I remember reading about how to do this in an instruction pasted to the inside lid of a barber hone box and it's the method I use for them. You can see how the blade kind of sweeps forward throughout the stroke so that the rolling motion keeps a relatively uniform angle on the smiling blade. The evidence is in the lather trail left behind. I see my technique can still use a little improvement.
