And I may also add:... for the N8K
-Edge extra polish (use dry): takes the edge to a higher level of keenness and extra comfort.

Bart, thanks for that correction on the garnet size.... I goofed a bit there. However, I'll stand by the "your coticule may be very different from my coticule" statement. :D

I don't own a Norton, Smythe, so I can't compare. However, the general consensus here on SRP seems to be that the Norton8K should be used before a coticule in finisher mode (water only), and not vice versa. That makes me think that coticules are finer polishers than the Norton8K. On the domain of edge refinement, I think the Norton is better. I suspect both are complementary, rather than interchangeable. I certainly don't see them as competitors.
