Ever the experimenter, I have longed for a narrower Chinese 12K and I've longed for a Chinese 12K slurry stone to expand that stone's range a bit.

Yeah yeah, I know, they're a brick, so why not use one of the edges to polish on if I want a narrow 12k? And yeah yeah, I know, rub a diamond plate on the surface of the stone and make all the blooming slurry that I want.

Nope, I want a 7" long x 1 3/8" x 7/16" thick 12K with a matching slurry stone! Much easier to hold in my hand when honing. I wants what I wants!

So I've bought a few from Woodcraft and my local rental center will rent me a stone/tile saw for $45. I'm going to do it.

Since I'll have a few extra cut this way, I wanted to know if there was anyone else that would be interested in such a modified 12K?

I haven't decided on an actual price. It would be less than the cost of a new 12K, so less than approx $40. Including shipping, probably not more than $30?

If anyone is interested, please respond here. Thanks.
