Thanked: 0how to set bevel with norton stone?
I bought 2 combo norton stone 220/1k + 4/8k. I have an old razor at home to practice honing on it. I found on the site the pyramid technique for honing but nothing on how to set a bevel. I read the wiki about bevel setting but no method was explain. May you help me there please.
thx for your help guys.

When I'm setting a bevel, I like to use circles. I'll do the same number of circles on each side of the razor, then follow up with 10 X strokes and then check the edge. I try to see where the bevel is coming in and where it needs more work so I can focus my attention on the problematic areas. I repeat this process until I get the bevel set.
If I had your hones, I would do this on the 1k. The Norton 1k is a fantastic bevel setter, and she'll serve you well for years.
