Ok Lynn, I finally got it.It took some time, but I guess that is how it works...

What I have been doing in the past, and I guess most newbs experience.Is trying to make up for quality(or the lack of it) In quantity.I have noticed that while my honing skills have increased substansially, my number of laps have decreased in the same manner.
I don't think that I truly understood how delicate and thin an edge we are dealing with here, until today.I did the 8000 side with about 20 strokes,(don't use a pyramide.)
Did a HHT and shaved some hair.I was pleased with the result.Then I did less the 10 super light (When I first got it I used like 50..)laps on the shapton 16k.The differense was enourmous!It was just popping hair instantly without a sound!
I think a light just turned on in my head! Amazing, that so little can do so much.Just wanted to share.
