Bart,
I'm beginning to think that we should add a "Thank Bart" button! Don't get me wrong, the advice from our other members is valuable and appreciated, but Bart is definitely the coticule go-to guy.

Bart,

Coticules have a thousand years history for sharpening use, and they're still a partially unresolved riddle. They'll probably always remain that way.
If I know anything about their use, it is thanks to Lynn and SRP, and the many great posts written by equally great gentlemen, long before I even knew this place existed.
Being Belgian and a passionate idiot, I might be able to gain a bit easier access to knowledge that was on the verge of vanishing into history. It took me on a journey through the past (;) to Ryan) and led to an ongoing series of exciting experiments. It would have been a lonely endeavor if it wasn't for you guys, that are here to share findings and discuss theories.
It is me that owes you all a big thanks,
Bart.
