    Default 4K,6K,12k...

    HI straightors...Here are the stones I own:4K KING,6K KING and a natural chinese 12K.
    Considering my razor was shave ready and new a month ago I must I treat it?Use the 4K/8K pyramid but with the 6K/12k or another method?the 12k seems slower ti cut so I assume it can't work as well.4K/6K pyramid and a polishing on the 12K(how?)Please give me your advice...

    If your razor was shave ready then dulliing by normal use can be remedied with a 12K. However if the edge got damaged (rust, chip) you need a coarser hone, do pyramids etc.

    +1 ... the 12k might be all it needs. Here is the honing tutorial in the SRP Wiki. You might want to take a look at it just for a refresher.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
