Off the DMT, the results on the TNT should be unquestionable. No "I think it I sense something" but a very obvious feeling of the blade sinking into the nail, and resistance while you drag it through the resulting scratch. Once there for the entire edge, you should leave the TNT behind, for the remainder of the honing. A few more light laps on the DMT-E, and the TPT will be at its maximum too.
I share Gary opinion on how the TPT feels completely different after the Blue. It's a more subtle kind of stickyness.
