I have 3 coti now one select one kosher and vintage. how would i no which one would be the best polisher. they all seem the same to me just look differant. when honing feel slightly differant but not much. i would say the vintage one cuts slightly faster as the slurry goes greyish a little quiker and after 100 laps turns greyish with a hint of purple but does'nt create slurry very quikly like my other select coti that creates a clay slurry i dilute it down with water my kosher creates thin slurry just like vintage coti the vintage coti looks more glassy glazed which makes me think that it is harder and would be good polisher but it cuts fairly well hard coticules i've read are slower cutters. at least they all make mt razorssharp to shave with and i have not got one thatgives a bad egde.
By the way i purchased the coti of littlesilver bladefromwale and it is a realy nice hone thank you very much.
My pleasure:D
