    Default Hones & Logos

    Hi,
    I just purchased a couple of new hones from japan, 1 is a 8000 and the other a 4000. the question, before i introduce myself to the world of honing my own razor, is the 4000 has a raised logo printed on the honing surface (the 8000 has a logo but not raised), do i need to remove prior to putting the blade to it?
