Thread: Video of me honing, please critique

So I made a video of me honing, please critique my technique. A few things I didn't really clear up or mention-
-The medical tape I use is not cloth tape. Its a weird vinyl stuff. Leaves no residue (doesn't leave crap on the razor), is tougher than electric (doesn't leave crap on the hone), and is free to me as an athlete. I use it to tape my hands when I row, and that says something lol
-The main reason I used the 5k is because this razor really needs the 1k, so a little bit of work on the 5k in the end won't change much right now.
-You'll see a few issues with my wrist because its not that comfortable for me to hone at that height, but I can't capture natural height
-The clip at the end of teh x-stroke on the J-nat is actually a better example of my x-stroke
-I just noticed my circles don't look like circles, its because the webcam is skippy sorry.
-I also know there are massive stripes on the Nani 5k- I left swarf on it last time lol and it dried on so now I have to relap it but was too lazy for the video
