Maestro.....No,the other Maestro, Lynn

Okay, not the Maestro of making razors but the Maestro of sharpening. I just got back 4 of my Thiers Issard razors from Lynn and I must say I have never had a razor this sharp before. I was fairly happy with my sharpening skills and maybe 90% of my customers found mine to be good enough. Well, this is a whole new level.

If you have not owned a Lynn sharpened razor by all means pony up and send one off to him. Even if you are an accomplished honer you need one of these to compare to. I could not believe how much better my weeks shaves have been since these arrived last week.

I will be sending off a few more of mine too.

My SRP TI went to Lynn for sharpening and it's totally amazing , I keep going on and on about it ..I've been itching to buy a TI Half Hollow from Classicshaving for a few weeks now once I finally hit the buy button it'll be going to Lynn before winging it's way across the pond ....
Tony as you know I'm one of your satisfied customers - you do a fine hoing job also !!! you guys just keep setting the standards that little bit higher for us new kids .

as always it's very much apprecited .. now onto classic shaving for another look at that TI .

There is the Lynn standard that is hard to match.

Lynn is one helluva honer. I have shaved with the Genco 28
times. I did 20 passes on the .5 side of the paddle strop, but
it really didn't need it. Other than that just the linen and leather.

The Lynn honed Dovo special has been shaved with 22 times.
I have used nothing but linen and leather.

I know this because I have a calender and each time I shave
I write down the razor I use as well as the soap or cream.
Why do I do this?.......
