My father as well. I happen to have a 1956 Gillette superspeed
that was his. I think I can remember him shaivng with it though
not positive ( I didn't come along until 1965 ). I was on a road
trip and shaved with it on Sunday using a Merkur blade and Proraso.
I swear the thing just glided down my face. I actually checked after
the first pass to make sure I had put a blade in.

Though our fathers are shaking their heads, I'm sure their fathers
are approving. Probably of the same generation. My grandpa Bias
being born in 1893.

I bet you are right about our grandfathers That's about when my grandfather was born. So maybe he is smilling.
