Default Virtual high five, thumbs up, and a thank you.

Well since I've posted a question on just about every razor I've tried to hone. I felt like it was necessary this time too. Tonight, I managed to bring a a perfectly smooth edge to a hollow ground Radiumite 5/8! And the bonus is, I didn't have to ask a single question! I did a lot of things differently than usual, so I figured I should make sure and post it for all to see.
1: I didn't start with one of my "cool" antique find mystery hones.
2: I didn't get frustrated and switch rocks after an hour.
3: I didn't bounce from this cool rock, to that cool rock, and back, in hopes of noticing some subtle trick, as yet undiscovered by the experts.
4: I didn't re-read all my past questions, and post an additional question, with my opinion of why this razor must be different than everybody else's.
5: I did get a shave like I've never experienced! I think maybe I'd trashed the member honed blade by the time I figured out how to use it
6: I did follow the SRP directions for using the Norton set "almost" to the letter. I won't list it, to avoid confusion to any other new person who reads this. My changes were more because I haven't memorized the instructions completely, and my inexperience. Also, I tried very, very hard to do it exactly as it's posted, plus tips I got from other questions I'd posted.

I suspect this razor could get better yet. But I just wanted to share my first "almost all by myself" success. Thanks to all those who have given me advice in the past! I'm sure I'll be looking for help again. It's only one so far. lol The additional good news is, after this success, I realize that I should go back and re-do the other ones that I "thought" were good. Thanks again to everyone!
