    Default finishing on a coticle

    I honed a razor to 8k. Stropped on plain leather then shaved with it. The blade is super sharp and smooth. Now I want to try finishing it on my La Verte Coticule 150x40.

    Should I go back to 8k for a couple of strokes before going to the Coticule or just go straight to the coticle?

    Should I be using slurry or just plain water on the coticle? Tips for how many laps?
