When I am honing a razor on one of my hones, I usually turn the hone end for end every twenty passes or so, to prevent undo wear on one side of the hone. Does anyone else do this to keep the hone wear even on both sides.?

Sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. Depends on how energetic I am on a given day. :p Worse comes to worse I've got the lapping plate.
I don't have a lapping plate just sandpaper, So I pay attention to it as much as possible and also try to start and end all the way to the end. Kind of O.C.D. I guess
Yep I flip the hone
ditto to flipping here also. My ocd wont let me not do this.
I flip with each step up the pyramid. And then halfway through on finisher
Yup, but usually between razors as I selldom only hone one razor at the time.
You can add me to the list of flippers as well.
And here's another one in the flipping crew;)
I will do it between razors, as it is rare I hone only one at the time these days.
I used to, then the meds started working.
...actually, sometimes I do, but only when I think of it. My thought is usually more of the blade, that it experience more uniform honing.
Now strop flipping, that's just a cry for help.
