Default required video instruction (free- at this point in time)

somehow i found Glen's (gssixgun)video collection on the utube.

y'all might not, but i really dig what he does and how he does it and will re-watch some of these as I get started honing in the next few weeks. that is exactly the type of learning that works best with mine brain.

i do believe that anyone who hasn't seen a few of his videos _should not_ come here an ask honing questions. if you have and then still have questions-then you should have plenty of points of reference (gleaned from said vids) that any experienced honemeister could easily understand and reply to.

they are not "instructional" per se except the one with the second guy (Mark/speedster). Glen simply does what he does with a camera rolling and talks about what he is doing/hearing/and _feeling_.

someday he'll start whittling the hairs on his right arm, until then you can pick him from the crowd if his sleeves are short.

thanks for documenting your work for us Glen. i'd like to see you do one straight through, but exactly as you normally do when the camera isn't rolling-play some music and time-lapse it too (maybe do three in a row with a little bit of dialogue describing the condition of each blade up front).

Sorta like Tom Oswald does on a lug carving video. that'd be brilliant.

NOTE TO THOSE SKIMMING: THIS IS NOT RAZOR HONING, IT'S A VIDEO "FORMAT" SAMPLE.
