What do you do with a Pakistani?
So, I honed up this no country of origin blade with "OCCO" in a diamond. I thought, "Holy smokes this took an amazing bevel and better yet the thing shaves beautifully." So "lets see what we can do with one that's labelled PAKISTANI!"
So I went on ebay and bought a cheap Pakistani razor and... Well, after about two hours on a king 800 bevel setter and it felt like I had butterknifed the thing, well it did start out feeling that way too! I went down to a 220 just for the fun of it, and couldn't get any measurable results. The blade just wouldn't take a bevel, shaved off a nice chunk of steel though. So I said, what's the difference between this and the no country OCCO? Obviously the OCCO must have not come from Pakistan, theory proven!
So what can I do with the pakistani razor?
I found out that it actually works really well as a "Butter Knife!" But not just butter, I got to try it with Peanut Butter, and it spreads better than any butter knife I own. It also works with Jams, Jellies, Marmalades, and soft cheeses! Next I think I may actually try it in a cheese ball!
