Thread: Public Thank you! to Ilija (Firestart)

I would like to thank Ilija for an extremely nice gift I received today: it's a bench hone (wood + leather) with CrO2. While it would certainly be a very fine addition to my sharpening process, I appreciate it much more because it is something that Ilija spent time on, he made it himself. I cannot wait to try it out!

I'd love to take full credit for it but Dave was instrumental in procuring the leather and providing/planing the backing. In addition to that he prepared two nice paddle strop backings for me.
In any case Ivo, I hope you enjoy using the early Xmas gift and your results are at least as good as mine.
